Perennial Plants

Looking for something different to add color this summer and complement your coneflowers? How about some non-daisy like flowers and interesting foliage colors?
Is your garden yearning for Campanula 'Pink Octopus', Penstemon 'Dark Towers' and Sedum 'Chocolate Drop'? Take a look at these exciting new varieties and imagine how lovely they will look next to coneflowers and coreopsis.

We were so impressed with the performance of the new Kniphofia hybrids that we are bringing you more colors of this grass-like perennial. Tolerant of wet or dry (great for rain gardens!), attractive to hummers and butterflies, clumping in habit and topped with flowers all summer - what more can one ask for?

Perennial of 2011 :
Amsonia hubrichtii

Leaves are needle like but fine and soft to the touch. A profusion of small blue flower clusters graces the plant in June. In the fall the foliage turns a stunning bright golden.

If you are looking for the newest coneflower introductions, then you've come to the right place. These forms and colors are a far cry from the traditional purple flowered echinaceas. Some are tall, others will make you wonder how such a small plant can produce such a profusion of huge flowers. Come and catch echie-mania here!

Sizes are listed as 'starter-size', 'pint', 'quart', etc. The size refers to the size of the rootball and is not an indication of the amount of top-growth. Many perennials will be dormant during the winter and ship with very little foliage in early spring.

Here's examples of our sizes. Picture was taken in July and shows coneflowers. We do not ship plug sizes.

We recycle and reuse plastic pots, most of our plants will ship in a plantable paper sleeve made from biodegradable newsprint.
