(Keppel, 2018) Tall Bearded Iris with standards and style arms that are a simple enough reed yellow, but oh the falls! There is a concord purple area flowing down from the tip of the beards, widening and lightening in what looks like a “waterfall” pattern carrying a thin pale foxglove violet central line.
Height 37" (94 cm), Late midseason bloom.
Standards and style arms reed yellow (M&P 10-I-1); falls concord (45-K-12) area from tip of beard widening and lightening (44-J-12) in waterfall pattern to near distal edge, thin pale foxglove (42-H-9) central line, large conspicuous blotch darker than pyrethrum yellow (11-L-2) to either side of beard, all edges blended olive sheen (13-K-3) to hemp (14-H-4), faintly flushed slate-purple (46-I-6); beards yellow ochre (11-L-7) in throat and middle, ends tan-yellow and lavender-blue mix.
